Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The candidate will assist in designing, modeling, and developing mechanical components and systems, ensuring functionality, efficiency, and quality. Candidates with 0 to 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.

Role Type and Location

This is an on-site role in Nadergul, Hyderabad (Telangana). Applicants must be comfortable commuting to the job location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems.
  • Create 3D models and production drawings using CAD software.
  • Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design validation and improvements.
  • Work with production team on the shop floor to ensure realization of the design.
  • Research the market for appropriate products/materials as required by the design.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure quality and timely completion of outsourced work.
  • Prepare technical documentation and maintain design and testing records.
  • Contribute ideas for improving designs, processes, and product efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 0–2 years of experience in mechanical design.
  • Knowledge of CAD software (3D modelling, 2D drafting), and GD&T.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication and materials.
  • Ability to make manufacturable engineering drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage employees on the shop floor and collaborate with external vendors.
  • Ability to inspect design and parts for quality issues
  • Knowledge in CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) will be an added advantage.
