Role & responsibilities

  • Monitor network devices, Active Directory services, and related infrastructure using defined tools.

  • Provide first-level troubleshooting and resolution for:

  • LAN/WAN connectivity issues

  • User login and authentication issues (Active Directory accounts, passwords, group policies)

  • VPN and Wi-Fi connectivity

  • Perform user account management in Active Directory (creation, deletion, modifications, password resets).

  • Assist in applying group policies and organizational units (OUs) under guidance.
  • Manage IP address assignments and assist in basic network configuration tasks.
  • Ensure timely logging, tracking, and closure of support tickets within SLAs.
  • Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for incident escalation and resolution.
  • Maintain proper documentation of incidents, changes, and configurations.
  • Support patching, updates, and routine maintenance activities.
  • Assist during IT audits, backup checks, and compliance reporting.

Required Skills & Competencies

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications preferred (CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA Network+).
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure monitoring.
