Responsible for implementation, control, staff training & maintaining of relevant HSE records in accordance with CLIENT safety & environmental requirements

Key Accountabilities and Duties:

  1. Office Safety, Incident Investigation & Safety Inspections

  2. Conduct Occupational Safety inspection/Audits as per SOP & Formats. Report non conformances, safety issues & hazards. Communicate monthly HSE report.

  3. Investigate and report immediately to Facility Manager in writing all near misses, accidents, incidents, and unsafe acts occurred at the job site. Perform root cause analysis & investigation jointly with operations to ascertain the risks & recommend corrective & preventive actions.
  4. Maintain all HSE related manuals/procedures/records. Check Availability of First aid box /medical support to the injured personnel.
  5. Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the requirements of Safety Management Plan & Environmental controls as per CLIENT policies.
  6. Detect, identify, analyze, and recommend actions / solutions to eliminate recognized hazardous acts, conditions, behaviors, and violations.
  7. Maintain record of PPE/ Equipments and tools inspection / testing certificates.
  8. Ensure safety practices such as work permit system, use of PPE, LOTO etc as per the SOP are being followed including those for the contractors & report any non-conformances to the FM.
  9. Make sure that the client safety procedures are fully complied & all documentation is maintained as per the requirements.
  10. Coordinate with Contractors/ building maintenance & FM for regular inspection testing & maintaining of fire protection, detection & safety devises such as extinguishers, smoke detectors & fire panel. Report serious deviations & issues immediately to the FM & take follow up actions.
  11. Train the procedures of Emergency Response/Damage Control to team OCS Services Pvt Ltd as per client requirements in Emergencies.
  12. Ensure compliance with all the HSE Processes (3 check for safety, Risk Assessment, Safety Net, PTW, etc.,) and Formats as required / documented for the sites.
  13. Perform safety inspection & review safety parameters for all contractors including activity such as driving, confined space entry or those involved with electrical, mechanical maintenance & non routine activities at site.
  14. Implementation of OSHAS system

  15. Regular checking of tools, PPE's safety provisions at sites to be performed & reported in a predefined format.

  16. Perform Staff Training & develop safety awareness

  17. Conduct trainings/daily briefing / weekly safety toolbox talks to promote safety awareness within the staff.

  18. Carry out HSE Induction training to all new staff. Dissimilate / impart safety & environmental awareness through QMHSE boards, Posters, sinages & communication.
  19. Carry out Induction of Drivers and new staff. Provide appropriate training & information about emergency practices & protocol to OCS Services Pvt Ltd Staff.
  20. Brief safety Alerts/newsletters and other Safety related communications.

  21. Coordinate / Conducting Mock drill on firefighting & building evacuation to entire staff.

  22. Environmental Management

  23. Responsible for maintaining records per the defined SOP / processes of the Environmental factors as per PCB guidelines.
