KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Computing Weight and Balance of the aircraft.
  2. Executing Cargo Loading plans created by Centralized Load Controllers.
  3. Conduct Pre-Arrival and Post-Arrival checks for flights as per guidelines provided by the airline
  4. Determine optimal weight distribution and placement of cargo within the aircraft to ensure stability and compliance with safety regulations.
  5. Ensuring accurate and complete documentation of all cargo, including weight, dimensions, and special handling requirements
  6. Coordination with all the agencies for flight schedules, parking slots
  7. Verify compliance with aviation regulations and company policies regarding the transportation of hazardous materials and other restricted items
  8. Communicate effectively with ground handling personnel and other relevant stakeholders to coordinate with the cargo loading and unloading activities
  9. Communicate with maintenance and engineering teams in case of technical issues with the aircraft. 9 Conduct pre-flight inspections of ramp area to ensure secure stowage and compliance with safety standards
  10. Address any discrepancies or issues related to cargo integrity and report them to relevant teams for resolution
  11. Participate in emergency response drills and training to handle unexpected situations, ensuring the safety of personnel and cargo
  12. Coordinate with respective service providers/vendors for smooth pre and post departure processes and procedures as per the airline's guidelines
  13. Ensure smooth, systematic and sequence driven loading and unloading process to avoid any damage to the aircraft
  14. Ensure that the load plan is executed properly adhering to the aircraft's safety
  15. Conduct a pre departure walk around to ensure proper adherence to all the processes and compliance before departure
  16. Co-ordinate with the crew for a quick and smooth turnaround of the aircraft
  17. Inform Crew in case of any flight delay
  18. Coordinate with ATC department for smooth clearance of the aircraft
  19. Prepare and send all the reports related to the respective flights as per the guidelines shared by the airlines.
