Position Overview

The OBIEE Support Analyst will be responsible for providing technical and functional support for Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) applications. This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to OBIEE reports, dashboards, RPD models, and data sources, ensuring availability, performance, and reliability of the BI environment.  Experience with Oracle EBS General Leader and Accounts Receivables modules as a data source.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Support
  • Provide day-to-day support for OBIEE reports, dashboards, and analytics, Table Structures
  • Investigate and resolve user-reported incidents and service requests.
  • Development & Maintenance
  • Assist in the design, development, and deployment of OBIEE reports and dashboards.
  • Modify existing reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
  • Maintain and update OBIEE repository (RPD), ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • System Administration
  • Manage OBIEE security, including user roles and permissions

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with OBIEE 12c administration and development.
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining OBIEE reports, dashboards, RPD models.
  • Knowledge of Star Schemas, Dimensional Hierarchies, Aggregations, Variables
  • Solid understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle databases.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with performance tuning of OBIEE reports and queries.
  • Familiarity with OBIEE security and user management.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or other BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Prior experience in financial services, consulting, or enterprise environments.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on OBIEE support/administration experience.
  • Oracle BI certification (preferred but not mandatory)
