About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced and conceptually strong
Senior Brand and Packaging Designer
to join our in-house creative team. This role requires someone who can confidently lead packaging and branding work across multiple consumer product categories including baby care wellness food and beverages

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of design systems brand building and packaging structures. You should be able to think strategically collaborate across teams and execute designs with precision and creativity. This role combines brand storytelling visual system building packaging detail and the ability to deliver on both long term and quick turnaround projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of packaging designs from concept to final production across new and existing products
  • Create and evolve brand identity systems including logo usage type hierarchy icons visual elements and color language
  • Develop creative concepts and visual narratives for campaigns launches or product stories
  • Design packaging layouts across multiple formats, including bottles, pouches, jars, boxes, sleeves and labels
  • Work closely with the creative head and marketing team to ensure visuals align with brand strategy
  • Ensure accurate production ready files with proper dielines, print specs, and color systems
  • Create high quality mockups and presentation decks for internal and external stakeholders
  • Guide junior designers where needed and review design output for quality and consistency
  • Stay updated on packaging trends, consumer behaviour, and industry benchmarks

Skills and Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator Photoshop and InDesign
  • Strong grasp of packaging formats materials finishes and print production processes
  • Ability to conceptualise and translate product positioning into meaningful packaging
  • Visual storytelling through pack design, including front of pack clarity and back of pack structure
  • Excellent sense of typography, layout, color balance, and visual hierarchy
  • Basic familiarity with Figma or Canva for digital and social adaptations
  • Bonus: Experience with mockup tools or 3D visualisation software like Adobe Dimension or Blender
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and visual

Preferred Background

  • 7 to 9 years of professional experience in packaging and brand design
  • Prior experience working in FMCG D2C or wellness categories
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and packaging rollouts
  • Portfolio must include real-world examples of packaging and brand systems
