Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced
MERN Stack Developer
with 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will work onsite in Bangalore, responsible for designing, building, and optimizing web applications using the
MongoDB, , , and
technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications using
    MongoDB, , , and (MERN Stack)
    .
  • Develop and consume
    RESTful APIs
    to enable seamless communication between front-end and back-end services.
  • Create reusable, modular, and efficient front-end components using

    , focusing on performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.
  • Optimize database design, queries, and indexing in
    MongoDB
    to improve data storage efficiency and application performance.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to project standards.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in development, testing, and production environments.
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for all front-end applications.
  • Use
    Git
    for version control and manage code in a collaborative team environment.
  • Deploy applications and manage environments using
    CI/CD pipelines
    .
  • Monitor application performance and implement improvements for scalability and reliability.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong expertise in the
    MERN stack (MongoDB, , , )

  • Good understanding of
    JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
    .
  • Experience developing and consuming
    RESTful APIs
    .
  • Proficient in database schema design and performance optimization using
    MongoDB
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Git, version control, and collaborative workflows
    .
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with
    CI/CD tools and deployment practices
    (Jenkins, Docker, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team environment.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like
    AWS or Azure

  • Familiarity with containerization tools such as
    Docker and Kubernetes

  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.).
