Manufacturing Master Data functional role.

This position is for an SAP MDG/ECC functional process role providing solutions support in the ERP Manufacturing Solutions space. The focus of the position will be to assist development activities as a functional expert in analyzing, designing, and developing solutions for enhancements in SAP Master Data Governance and Manufacturing master data.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ability to analyze SAP system solutions supporting custom Material Master create and change tool.
  • Skilled in Material Master Workflow design and process.
  • Assist in the integration of MDG tool to Downstream systems.
  • Assist with SAP ECC and MDG enhancement requests.
  • Working with Business to define user requirements, functional requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Performing process impact analysis as well as related SAP functional/technical activities (design, prototype, test, implement) for continuous improvement enhancement requests.
  • Recommending strategies that are both compliant and efficient in accordance with company compliance guidelines.
  • Reviewing and analyzing solution enhancement requests to determine complexity.
  • Developing user and technical specifications to support development of approved solutions.
  • Authoring and execution of test scripts, required to maintain a validated system state.
  • Clearly articulating and demonstrating SAP functionality to broad stakeholder group. Translating and influencing business and functional solution requirements with stakeholders.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5+ years of SAP ECC experience including functional knowledge and configuration skill.
  • Experience in SAP MDG Custom Data Model, BRF+,Workflow process, Process modelling.
  • Good understanding of all Manufacturing master data including Material, BOMs, PVs, Recipes.
  • Understanding of the SAP overall ECC Business functionality.
  • Understanding of ABAP code development.
  • Experience in SAP MDG and ECC interfaces (in and out).
  • Good writing and communication skills for technical document writing.
  • Global Pharmaceutical industry SAP implementation experience preferred.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and ALM HP Quality Center.
