  1. Job Description-

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP MDG Finance Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) with a strong focus on Finance (MDG-F) domain, including GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers, and company codes. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting SAP MDG solutions to ensure high-quality master data and governance processes across the enterprise.

  1. Key Responsibilities:

  2. Lead and deliver end-to-end SAP MDG-Finance implementations and rollouts.

  3. Design and configure MDG data models, UI, workflows, and validations for Finance master data.
  4. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  5. Integrate SAP MDG with ECC/S4HANA and other systems for seamless master data distribution.
  6. Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and controls.
  7. Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  8. Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement of MDG processes.
  9. Work closely with technical teams for enhancements, data replication, and custom developments.
  10. Required Skills & Qualifications:
  11. 7–10 years of experience in SAP, with at least 4+ years in SAP MDG Finance.
  12. Strong knowledge of SAP MDG-F data models and SAP FICO integration.
  13. Hands-on experience with MDG configuration, BRF+, FPM, and workflow design.
  14. Experience in data quality, data migration, and data replication using SOA or ALE.
  15. Familiarity with S/4HANA and SAP MDG on S/4 is a strong plus.
  16. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

  17. SAP MDG certification (preferred but not mandatory).

  18. Nice to Have:

  19. Exposure to MDG-C (Customer) or MDG-S (Supplier) domains.

  20. Experience with SAP BTP, MDG Consolidation, or Central Governance.

  21. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools.

  22. Education:

  23. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
