Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Intellectual Property Rights Professional, located in Ahmedabad. The Intellectual Property Rights Professional will be responsible for managing and protecting the intellectual property assets of the company. Day-to-day tasks will include conducting patent searches and analyses, drafting and filing patent applications, managing patent portfolios, and ensuring compliance with intellectual property laws and regulations. The role also involves collaborating with research and development teams, as well as providing legal advice related to intellectual property matters.

Qualifications

  • Experience in conducting patent searches and analyses, and drafting and filing patent applications
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property laws and regulations, and experience in managing patent portfolios
  • Excellent legal research, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with research and development teams
  • Relevant degree in law, science, or engineering, with specialization in intellectual property
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or life-sciences industry is a plus
  • Certification as a Patent Agent is a plus
