Our mission is to enhance the solo travel experience by promoting social connections and providing seamless travel planning. Join us in transforming the way people explore the world. We are looking for a highly motivated trip specialist to join our core team, starting off as an intern and play a vital role in building the future of solo travel.

Responsibilities:

As a Travel Consultant Intern, you will be responsible for creating and planning engaging travel itineraries, finding and booking hotel/villa deals, executing trips, and managing travel groups.

  1. Design and develop detailed travel itineraries that cater to the interests and preferences of solo travelers.
  2. Coordinate all aspects of the trips, including accommodations, transportation, activities, and local experiences.
  3. Ensure smooth execution of planned trips, handling any issues that arise and ensuring travelers have a positive experience.
  4. Manage travel groups, facilitating introductions and interactions among group members, and ensuring everyone s needs are met.
  5. Provide exceptional customer support to travelers before, during, and after their trips.
  6. Conduct research to identify new travel trends, destinations, and activities that can be incorporated into future travel packages.
  7. Gather feedback from travelers to continually improve and refine travel packages and services.

P. S - This position also requires traveling to different destinations when required

Qualifications:

  1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
  2. Passion for travel and a deep understanding of popular travel destinations and experiences.
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations with ease.
  6. Previous experience in travel planning, customer service, or group management is a plus.

Experience is a plus, but not key - At Solopackers, I believe the most important thing is rate of growth, rather than current marketing capability. Only those who truly seek and fit one of an early stage startup will be considered.
