Role & responsibilities

  • To own YBL's Vision, Values and Mission.
  • Good understanding of stem cell research, including hiPSC derivation, characterization, and banking.
  • Supporting the team in the required R&D and production activities for hiPSC derivatives.
  • Contribute to the design, optimization, and validation of assays relevant to stem cell research.
  • Good understanding of employing analytical techniques such as FACS, qPCR, ICC, and Western immunoblotting.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebooks, experiment records and reports.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop new protocols and improve existing methodologies.
  • Utilize GraphPad software to analyze experimental data, generate plots, and perform statistical analyses.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency in adherence to established protocols and standards.
  • Good understanding of GMP procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Tracking of inventory including raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of research efforts.
  • Assist in laboratory management tasks, including inventory management, reagent preparation, and equipment maintenance cell banking etc.
  • Flexible about working outside office hours or holidays for critical and time sensitive research and development tasks.
  • Any other activities related to smooth functioning of YBL.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Master in any discipline of Life Sciences with a minimum of 2 years experience.
  • Previous experience or coursework related to stem cell research and analytical techniques.
  • Familiarity with data analysis software, particularly GraphPad Prism.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for data integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
