Job Description :- Associate/Senior Associate - Finance

Company Overview:

Battery Smart is India's largest and fastest-growing Battery Swapping Network for electric two and

three-wheelers. Launched in June 2020, we aim to revolutionize the EV sector by making electric

mobility simple, economical, and accessible through a unique partner-led model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day accounting and ensure accurate books of accounts.

  • Perform reconciliations across Bank Accounts, Payment Gateways, General Ledger, and System Reports.

  • Ensure timely and accurate vendor/customer reconciliations.

  • Prepare and post necessary accounting entries including provisions, accruals, and adjustments.

  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

  • Support in audits by providing required data and reconciliations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in Reconciliations (Bank, Gateways, GL, and System Reports).

  • Solid understanding of Accounting Principles & Practices.

  • Working knowledge of TDS & GST.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Hands-on experience with accounting/ERP systems.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Proactive attitude with accountability for assigned tasks.
