Position Summary
The Medical Assistant plays a key role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring smooth daily operations of the clinic. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to patient care and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and prepare patients for examination or treatment.
- Record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist physicians and nurses with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Administer medications or injections as directed (if certified).
- Perform routine laboratory tests, specimen collection, and basic wound care.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate referrals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Support administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and handling patient inquiries.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates welcome to apply).
- Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Work performed in a clinical environment with exposure to medical equipment and occasional biological hazards.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹4, ₹8,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 28 per week
