About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic engineering team at Datamotive. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge solutions in cloud workload mobility, disaster recovery, and data protection. If you're experienced in Golang for backend and for frontend, and eager to solve real-world cloud-native challenges, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable and robust backend services using Golang.
  • Build dynamic and responsive UI components using , HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful product features.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
  • Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code (unit, integration, and E2E testing).
  • Simulate real-world use cases to test features across VMware, AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
  • Support customer engagements via product demos, training, and knowledge transfers.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and marketing collateral like blogs and webinars.

Technical Skills Required

  • 3–6 years of experience in software development with exposure to distributed system design.
  • Proficiency in Golang (primary backend) and (primary frontend).
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) or VMware.
  • Understanding of data protection, disaster recovery, and cloud mobility domains.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, SaaS applications, and infrastructure automation.
  • Familiarity with scripting or additional languages like Python, C/C++, Shell scripting is a plus.
  • Strong fundamentals in computer science, problem-solving, and system design.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native tooling.
  • Prior experience working in product-based or cloud infrastructure companies.
