We are hiring Electrician – Steel Plant, Ingur (Erode)

Location: Ingur, Erode, Tamil Nadu

Industry: Steel Manufacturing

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: ₹18,500 – ₹21,000 per month

Qualification: ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ BE.EEE

Experience: Minimum 0–5 years of relevant experience in a steel plant or heavy industrial environment

Key Requirements:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical systems, including motors, transformers, switchgear, MCC panels, and wiring.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues in steel melting shops, rolling mills, furnaces, and other plant machinery.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Ensure proper functioning of electrical systems supporting heavy machinery and process automation.
  • Work with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and SCADA systems to support automation and process control.
  • Maintain documentation of work performed, including maintenance logs and equipment histories.
  • Follow all plant safety procedures, lockout/tagout protocols, and work permit systems.
  • Assist in electrical system upgrades, retrofits, and new equipment installations.

Note: We are looking for candidates located in the Erode area only.
