Job Overview
As a Store Manager at Reliance Retail, you will lead store operations to drive business growth while ensuring a superior customer experience. This senior-level, full-time role requires 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience and is based in Bangalore Urban, Chennai, or Hyderabad. You will be pivotal in managing all facets of store performance, operations, and team success.
Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience in retail operations, consistently delivering on store performance targets and optimizing sales processes (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in sales forecasting, leveraging data and market trends to make informed inventory and merchandising decisions (Mandatory skill).
- Demonstrated capability in KPI analysis for tracking store performance and developing data-driven strategies for improvement (Mandatory skill).
- Proven record of leading and mentoring large teams to achieve operational excellence and superior service levels with a collaborative approach.
- Expertise in enhancing customer experience through proactive engagement, addressing concerns, and developing loyalty initiatives tailored for diverse consumer needs.
- Vigilance in implementing loss prevention measures, including effective training, compliance management, and shrinkage control tailored to the retail environment.
- Strong skills in performance coaching, empowering employees for skill enhancement and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with organizational goals.
- Experience in budget management, ensuring cost-effective operations while meeting financial targets and optimizing resource utilization for maximum impact.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance with company standards, and achievement of financial and operational targets.
- Drive sales performance and profitability through effective team management, merchandising, inventory optimization, and best-in-class retail practices.
- Implement company policies, procedures, and quality standards, maintaining a safe, organized, and customer-friendly environment at all times.
- Develop and lead the store team by setting clear objectives, providing ongoing training, and fostering a culture of accountability and customer focus.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, taking corrective actions to ensure targets related to sales, shrinkage, and customer satisfaction are met or exceeded.
- Manage inventory, stock replenishment, and loss prevention efforts to minimize shrinkage and maximize product availability for customers.
- Prepare and manage store budgets, track expenditures, and optimize operational costs to meet or exceed profit goals set by senior management.
- Build strong relationships with customers, team members, and stakeholders, acting as a brand ambassador and representing Reliance Retail's values and standards.
