Position: Engineer - SPM

Location: Pirangut, Pune

Function: Standard Part Management

Reporting to: Associate Manager

Position Summary:

Responsible for creating and maintaining the Standard parts database knowledge & Manufacturer datasheet analysis. The role ensures accuracy, compliance with applicable standards, and supports global design and manufacturing teams through effective collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain Standard datasheet as per Methodology (Easy/Medium level)
  • Ensure timely completion of all requests for component creation/modification (On Time in Full)
  • Maintain high-quality standards for components using established methodologies
  • Interpret Manufacturer datasheet and apply appropriate standard for creation of BSD
  • SAP material classification for standard parts
  • Collaborate with global manufacturers and design teams to gather input and resolve queries

Critical Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • Good knowledge of Electrical components & standards
  • Experience in Electrical / Mechanical & Pneumatic component datasheet analysis
  • Average knowledge of mechanical & Pneumatic components & standards will be added value
  • Proficiency in electrical/mechanical component knowledge for suggesting alternate components in case of Obsolescence
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, and passionate about engineering excellence
  • Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems (preferred)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and reporting
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Alignment with Company values and a team-oriented mindset

Education and Experience:

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience OR
  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering with 2+ years of experience
