Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Procurement Specialist located in Chennai. The role involves managing the purchasing processes, including supplier negotiation, purchase management, and issuing purchase orders. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing procurement needs, identifying potential suppliers, conducting cost analyses, and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of parts and services.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase Orders
  • Skills in Supplier Negotiation and maintaining Supplier Relationships
  • Strong Analytical Skills for cost analysis and procurement needs assessment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the marine or industrial sector is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or any other relevant engineering courses.
