Role & Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters running on RedHat Core OS on Dell PowerEdge servers.
  • Manage cluster upgrades, scaling, and security hardening.
  • Administer user access and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Monitor cluster health, performance, and utilization.
  • Troubleshoot container, pod, and node-level issues.
  • Automate VM deployment and routine administrative tasks using shell scripts, Ansible, or other automation tools.
  • Collaborate with application developers and DevOps engineers to ensure a stable and continuously improving platform.
  • Support 24/5 operational shifts with weekend on-call availability.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in OpenShift and RedHat Core OS administration.
  • Strong knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux and OpenShift Virtualization.
  • Proven experience in cluster upgrades, security hardening, scaling, and RBAC management.
  • Expertise in automation using scripting and Ansible.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex container and infrastructure issues.
  • Comfortable working in hybrid mode and in 24/5 shifts with weekend on-call.
  • Good collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
