eGrove Systems is looking for Unix System Administrator to join its team of experts.

Location: Chennai / Madurai

Experience: 3+ Years

Job Responsibilities:

·      Install, configure, and maintain Unix/Linux servers.

·      Perform regular system backups, patch updates, and performance tuning.

·      Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.

·      Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.

·      Automate routine tasks using shell scripting.

·      Ensure system availability and reliability.

·      Work with other IT teams to support application deployments.

·      Document procedures and system configurations.

Requirements:

·      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

· years of experience in Unix/Linux system administration.

·      Strong knowledge of RedHat, CentOS, or similar distributions.

·      Experience with shell scripting (bash, ksh, etc.).

·      Familiarity with server hardware, storage systems, and network basics.

·      Knowledge of tools like Nagios, Ansible, or similar is a plus.

·      Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
