Job Description:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system engineering particularly in designing architecting and implementing systems for automotive applicationsThis role requires a deep understanding of automotive electronics including sensors control units actuators and communication protocolsKey Responsibilities:Key ResponsibilitiesProficiency in designing and integrating automotive electronic systems such as ECUs Electronic Control Units BMS modules powertrain control modules ADAS Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and infotainment systemsFamiliarity with automotive sensors actuators and communication protocols CAN LIN FlexRay EthernetExperience with ECU VCU ZCU architectures and associated implementation methodologiesAbility to select and integrate appropriate controllers based on performance and application requirementsAwareness on automotive safety standards and working experience in designing electronics systems to meet these standardsUnderstanding of functional safety concepts and methodologies Safety Integrity Levels fault analysis etcAwareness in using simulation tools egdSPICE MATLAB Simulink for electronic circuit design analysis and verificationExperience in hardware in the loop HIL testing and validation of electronic SystemsHands on experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN Controller Area Network LIN Local Interconnect Network and EthernetCollaborate with cross functional teams including software engineers mechanical engineers and designers to integrate electronic systems into vehicle platformsSupport prototype builds testing validation and verification activitiesDocument design specifications test plans and resultsQualifications Additional skillsBachelor s degree in electrical engineering Computer Engineering or related fieldMaster s degree will be added advantage10 15 years of experience in automotive electronics system design and developmentProficiency in CAD tools egAltium Designer Cadence and simulation software egdSPICEExcellent problem solving skills and attention to detailEffective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environmentPassion for automotive technology and innovationTechnical Requirements:Domain Automotive Automotive Systems Domain IOT IOT ALLAdditional Responsibilities:Good knowledge on software configuration management systemsStrong business acumen strategy and cross industry thought leadershipAwareness of latest technologies and Industry trendsLogical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborateTwo or three industry domain knowledgeUnderstanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models availableClient Interfacing skillsKnowledge of SDLC and agile methodologiesProject and Team managementPreferred Skills:Domain->Internet of Things (IOT)->Automotive,Domain->IOT->IOT-ALL
