Job Description: Group Collection Manager

Overview

The Group Collection Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the collection process for a group of accounts that are overdue. This role requires strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to effectively recover outstanding debts.

Key Responsibilities

Collection Strategy Development:

* Develop and implement effective collection strategies for individual accounts and groups of accounts.

* Analyze account data to identify trends and risk factors.

* Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors.

Overdue Account Management:

* Manage a portfolio of overdue accounts, prioritizing accounts based on risk and potential recovery.

* Monitor collection progress and take appropriate action to accelerate payments.

* Escalate difficult cases to management as needed.

Reporting and Analysis:

* Prepare regular reports on collection activities, including recovery rates, write-offs, and aging analysis.

* Analyze collection data to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.

Customer Relationship Management:

* Build and maintain positive relationships with debtors and their representatives.

* Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree.

* Minimum of 1 years of experience in collections, preferably in a supervisory role.

* Strong understanding of debt collection laws and regulations.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
