Job Description:
A fresher Chartered Accountant (CA) job description involves assisting with financial statement preparation, supporting audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance under senior guidance. Responsibilities include data analysis, tax return preparation, and account reconciliation, with a focus on gaining practical experience in accounting principles and software. 
 
Key responsibilities
 
  • Financial statement and report preparation: Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss accounts. 
  • Auditing: Support internal and external audit processes by conducting audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. 
  • Taxation: Help with the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws. 
  • Financial analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and anomalies, and generate reports for management. 
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Assist senior accountants in budget planning and monitoring. 
  • Account management: Reconcile accounts and manage ledger entries, and assist with accounts payable and receivable processes. 
  • Compliance: Ensure all financial activities adhere to relevant accounting standards and legal regulations. 
 
Required skills and qualifications
 
  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) certification. 
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in accounting principles, standards, and accounting software like Tally or QuickBooks. 
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Soft skills: Effective communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. 
  • Detail-oriented: High attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
