Core Mandate: The Global Indian Sound

The successful candidate must be a Master of Fusion—a composer who can seamlessly blend and elevate the music to international standards.

• Indian Classical Foundation: You must demonstrate a profound, academic understanding of Ragas (melody), Talas (rhythm), and the expressive depth of Indian classical forms (Hindustani or Carnatic). This is the soul of our music.
• International Oomph & Production: You must be a guru in modern music production, capable of layering, orchestrating, and mixing that classical foundation with international genres (e.g., epic orchestral scoring, electronic soundscapes, contemporary jazz, or global folk rhythms) to achieve a sound that is rich, layered, and universally appealing—a true East-Meets-West sonic identity.
• Emotional Score Mastery: Compose and produce the entire spectrum of music for our animated feature—from chart-ready songs that carry emotional weight to complex, underscore BGMs (Background Music) that precisely hit narrative cues (hit points) and elevate cinematic moments.
• Sound Design Integration: Work hand-in-hand with the sound team to ensure seamless, world-class integration of music and sound effects, recognizing that the final mix is critical to the international-grade quality we seek.

Technical & Production Requirements

This is a Producer-Composer role. You must be able to move your work from concept to final, polished demo.

• DAW Mastery: Expert proficiency in a professional-grade Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) such as Logic Pro X, Cubase, or Pro Tools for composing, arranging, and mixing.
• Virtual Orchestration: Proven skill in utilizing and programming high-quality virtual instrument libraries (e.g., Hollywood Orchestral Series, EastWest, Kontakt) to create realistic and emotionally resonant orchestral mockups.
• Studio Literacy: Deep understanding of signal flow, microphone techniques (even if primarily using samples), mixing (EQ, compression, reverb), and mastering to deliver a broadcast-quality stereo mix.
• Notation Fluency: Ability to read and write musical notation (using Sibelius or Finale is a plus) for potential live session orchestration.

• Story-Centric Composer: An innate ability to read a visual scene, understand the director's vision, and prioritize the narrative above personal musical preference. Your music must serve the film first.
• Thick Skin and High-Volume Output: Be prepared for constructive criticism and multiple revisions. Your commitment must be to delivering the final, perfected piece, even after numerous changes.
