Sales & Marketing Specialist – Vari Beverages (Dryst)

Location: Bangalore

About the Role

We're building Dryst into India's most purposeful premium water brand — and we're looking for a driven Sales & Marketing Specialist to help us accelerate growth.

This role is perfect for someone who is energetic, resourceful, and passionate about building a consumer brand from the ground up. Success in this position means rapidly expanding our retail presence, building strong relationships, executing smart marketing initiatives, and becoming a key part of Dryst's early growth engine.

You will work closely with the founder to scale distribution, drive sales, and shape how Dryst shows up in the market.

ResponsibilitiesSales

  • Identify, onboard, and manage retail, HORECA, gym, and modern trade partners in Bangalore.
  • Drive product placement, visibility, and in-store execution.
  • Build and maintain strong distributor, retailer, and corporate-client relationships.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and track performance metrics.
  • Conduct on-ground sampling, store visits, and brand activations.
  • Gather market insights, competitor analysis, and channel feedback.

Marketing

  • Assist in planning and executing digital and offline marketing campaigns.
  • Work with the design & content team to create promotional materials (product catalogues, POS, social media content, etc.).
  • Support brand visibility initiatives across events, gyms, cafés, and retail locations.
  • Coordinate influencer collaborations, partnerships, and local campaigns.
  • Monitor brand performance, customer feedback, and campaign analytics.

Cross-functional

Work directly with the founder on sales strategy, new product launch support, and channel expansion.

Maintain CRM, pipeline tracking, and reporting dashboards.

Ensure smooth coordination between operations, logistics, and retail partners.

Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development (FMCG/Beverage experience is a strong plus).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable with on-ground fieldwork and meeting clients.
  • Good understanding of modern trade, retail, HORECA, or distribution networks.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
