The Technical Product Owner (WEB3) bridges the gap between business objectives and technology execution. This hybrid role is responsible for driving the product vision and roadmap while providing technical leadership across cross-functional teams. The role ensures product value delivery, technical excellence, and stakeholder satisfaction, from conception through launch and ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership

  • Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog in alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Translate high-level product strategy into actionable user stories and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders (business, design, marketing, etc.) to validate requirements and gather feedback.
  • Own the product roadmap and release planning.

Technical Leadership

  • Guide the technical direction of the product, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
  • Make architectural decisions in consultation with the engineering team.
  • Mentor developers and contribute to code reviews, technical troubleshooting, and design discussions.
  • Ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

Agile Delivery

  • Serve as the Scrum Product Owner in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, standups, retrospectives).
  • Prioritize sprint backlog to maximize delivery of value and velocity.
  • Coordinate development timelines, release schedules, and manage technical dependencies.

Quality & Performance

  • Work with QA and DevOps to ensure product releases are stable and meet quality standards.
  • Monitor system performance, user feedback, and product metrics post-launch for continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as the single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product vision, progress, and roadblocks.
  • Communicate effectively across business and technical audiences.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2+ years in a product ownership or tech lead role.
  • Proven experience delivering digital products in Agile environments.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software architecture, development, or DevOps.
  • Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and modern development frameworks.
