We are seeking an experienced and strategic
Lead Data Analyst
to join our growing data analytics team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence, with deep expertise in
Power BI
and a strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, and storytelling through data.

This role will involve leading data initiatives, managing junior analysts, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver insightful and impactful dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of
    Power BI dashboards
    and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and optimize complex
    DAX queries
    and
    Power BI data models
    .
  • Perform deep-dive analysis and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Guide data quality, integrity, and governance efforts across projects.
  • Mentor and manage a small team of analysts, ensuring best practices in reporting and analytics.
  • Work closely with data engineers and other IT functions to align analytics efforts with overall data strategy.
  • Stay up to date on Power BI updates, features, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Expertise in
    Power BI
    , including advanced DAX, data modeling, Power Query (M), and visualization best practices.
  • Strong SQL skills; experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL).
  • Experience leading analytics projects and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills – ability to turn data into insights and insights into actions.
