Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
Power BI Developer
to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building enterprise-level dashboards, data modeling, SQL development, and strong understanding of user interface (UI) principles. Familiarity with
Microsoft Fabric
for end-to-end data platform capabilities is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into meaningful visuals and analytics.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries to support data extraction and transformation.
  • Work with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and governance.
  • Build efficient data models using Power BI best practices (Star/Snowflake schema).
  • Leverage Microsoft Fabric components (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Real-Time Analytics) in reporting pipelines.
  • Apply UI/UX best practices to create intuitive, responsive, and visually engaging dashboards.
  • Perform data analysis and deliver actionable insights to business teams.
  • Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage report access controls.
  • Monitor and improve report performance and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL or similar), including complex joins, CTEs, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts; experience with Snowflake is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and UI/UX design.
  • Experience in Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse, including Lakehouse and Dataflows.
  • Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M language) for custom calculations and transformations.
  • Experience in data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema) and relational databases.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good To Have

  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or ADF pipelines.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs for Power BI service automation and integration.
  • Certification in Microsoft Power Platform or Azure (e.g., PL-300, DP-500).
