Core responsibilities

  • Sales and lead generation: Persuade customers to make purchases, build rapport with potential clients, and convert leads into sales.
  • Inbound calls: Answer incoming calls from customers to provide information, handle complaints, and resolve issues.
  • Outbound calls: Contact potential customers to explain products/services, generate interest.
  • Customer service: Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner and provide solutions.
  • Data management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, update customer databases.
  • Reporting: Document call details, report observations to team leads, and provide feedback to improve customer experience.

Key skills and qualifications

  • Communication: Strong verbal communication and active listening skills are essential.
  • Persuasion: Ability to persuade customers and negotiate effectively.
  • Technical: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Other: Attention to detail, multitasking, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are also important.
  • Education: A high school diploma is typically the minimum requirement.
