Role: Active Directory Migration EngineerDuration: 12 months. Mode: Work from Office 5 days. Active Directory Migration EngineerKey Responsibilities: Migration Planning:Develop and execute detailed migration plans for transitioning Active Directory (AD) environments, focusing on merging AD globally with priority regions being India and Australia.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders for budgeting purposes and ensure alignment with project goals. Execution of Migrations:Lead the execution of AD migrations, including the migration of workstations and groups, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Work as part of global team across regions (India, US East & West, EMEA) using an Agile framework with sprints and Kanban dashboards.

Testing and Validation:Conduct thorough testing and validation of migrated environments to ensure functionality and performance meet organizational standards. Engage in persona scoping and use case analysis to understand business needs and run PoCs effectively. Troubleshooting and Support:Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after the migration process to resolve any issues that arise.

Participate in daily stand-ups mins) and be included in spaces/chat for ongoing communication. Documentation and Stakeholder Engagement:Maintain comprehensive documentation of migration processes, configurations, and changes for future reference and compliance purposes. Present the project back to stakeholders.

Collaborate with IT teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful migration outcomes.Required Qualifications: Education:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience:5-7 years of experience in Active Directory management and migration projects. Experience in automation, AD migrations, and security posture is crucial.

Certifications:Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Specific Skills:Technical Expertise:Strong understanding of AD architecture, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related technologies. Migration Tools:Proficiency with migration tools and technologies, such as ADMT (Active Directory Migration Tool) or third-party solutions.

Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues during migrations. Communication Skills:Effective communication skills for collaborating with IT teams and stakeholders. Project Management:Experience in managing migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration support.
