As we expand our footprint in the domestic market, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to drive growth in the Delhi and Mumbai regions.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and execute the sales initiatives for Mafatlals home furnishing products in Delhi and Mumbai. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing region-specific sales strategies, managing B2B sales, leading a high-performance sales team, and building long-lasting relationships with key customers, architects, designers, distributors, and other partners.

This role requires significant expertise in channel distribution sales and corporate sales, with additional experience in both pharma and non-pharma sales to help expand our presence across multiple customer segments.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Growth:

  • Develop and execute tailored sales strategies for the Delhi and Mumbai regions to meet sales targets and expand Mafatlal's market share in the home furnishings and textiles industry.
  • Drive both B2B sales through key accounts (e.g., distributors, designers, contractors, and retailers) and corporate clients (including pharma and non-pharma sectors).
  • Analyze and monitor sales performance regularly, adjusting strategies as necessary to align with corporate objectives and optimize growth.

Channel Distribution & Corporate Sales:

  • Oversee channel distribution sales, ensuring strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and partners to drive revenue.
  • Manage corporate sales, focusing on high-value clients across pharma and non-pharma industries, providing tailored solutions that align with their business needs.
  • Identify and explore new business opportunities across different channels and corporate segments, including untapped markets.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team across Delhi and Mumbai, ensuring achievement of targets and growth objectives.
  • Develop and conduct regular training programs to enhance team performance, focusing on product knowledge, customer service, and negotiation skills.
  • Set clear performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide feedback to ensure team alignment with Mafatlal's growth goals.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including interior designers, architects, contractors, home furnishing retailers, and corporate clients.
  • Offer tailored solutions to clients, ensuring that Mafatlals products meet their specific requirements and exceed their expectations.
  • Proactively address customer concerns or complaints, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

Market Analysis & Reporting:

  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer preferences in the home furnishings space.
  • Generate detailed sales reports and provide insights to senior management on sales performance, customer feedback, and emerging opportunities.
  • Recommend adjustments to product offerings or marketing strategies based on in-depth market analysis and customer feedback.

Brand Representation & Promotion:

  • Represent Mafatlal Industries at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to showcase the company's products, build brand recognition, and generate leads.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute joint promotional activities, such as advertising campaigns, in-store promotions, and digital marketing initiatives, that align with both B2B and corporate sales goals.

Order Management & Inventory Control:

  • Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment, effective inventory control, and availability of products for customers.
  • Monitor stock levels and work proactively to ensure smooth delivery processes, addressing any potential issues promptly.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the home furnishings, textiles, or retail industry.
  • Proven experience in managing sales teams, achieving revenue targets, and driving B2B and corporate sales, especially in the pharma and non-pharma industries.
  • Strong understanding of the home furnishings and textile market in India, particularly in Delhi and Mumbai.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills—able to build and maintain relationships with a diverse set of customers, including high-value corporate accounts.
  • Proven leadership skills—experience leading and motivating a sales team to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for sales reporting, forecasting, and presenting data.
  • Analytical skills—ability to assess sales data and forecast market trends to guide business decisions.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills—ability to manage complex customer situations and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Customer-centric approach—focus on understanding and meeting customer needs to build long-term business relationships.
