Sr Graphics Designer

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our team and take
the lead in our Design department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of
design projects, from concept development to the final execution. As a Senior Designer, you will
oversee a team of Junior Designers and interns, providing guidance and feedback to ensure the
delivery of high-quality artwork. Collaboration with the Art Director, freelance Typesetters, and
Illustrators will be essential to meet project deadlines. Additionally, you will work closely with the
Marketing Department to create visually appealing graphics for promotional and marketing
content.

knowledge of printing technology, color management, and design software such as Photoshop,

Responsibility
- Plan, oversee, and manage all stages of design projects, ensuring their successful completion
 within specified timelines and budgets
-Create and deliver high-quality and original artwork that meets client requirements, considering
 printing techniques, color management, and prepress processes to ensure optimal print output.
- Assign tasks to Junior Designers, interns, and freelancers, and review their submissions to
 maintain consistent quality standards and provide constructive feedback for their professional
 growth.
- Design various types of graphics, such as branding materials, marketing collateral, infographics,
  and illustrations, based on client briefs, paying close attention to color accuracy, typography, and
  overall aesthetics.
- Maintain brand consistency and voice throughout each project, ensuring that the designs align
 with the established brand identity and guidelines.
- Communicate and collaborate with the Marketing team to create compelling promotional
  graphics that effectively convey the desired message and engage the target audience
- Assess the productivity and quality output of the Design team, providing guidance, mentorship,
 and training opportunities to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Provide accurate timelines and deliverables based on client preferences and project requirements,       considering the intricacies of printing processes, color management, and file  preparation for both digital  and print media.
- Select and utilize appropriate materials, such as ink, paper, and colors, to achieve desired artistic
 results and ensure the best print output.
- Liaise with freelance service providers, such as Cartographers and Illustrators, to manage urgent
 projects effectively, coordinating printing specifications, color accuracy, and file formats.
  Education/Experience
Competency
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Graphic Designer, Visual Designer, or in a similar role, with
 a strong focus on print design.
-A comprehensive portfolio showcasing your design projects and demonstrating your skills and
 creativity, with a particular emphasis on print work and the ability to manage color profiles and
 file formats
- In-depth knowledge of printing technology, color management, and prepress processes,
 including understanding different printing techniques, color spaces, and calibration.
- Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign),
 and other relevant tools, with expertise in leveraging these software to achieve desired visual
 effects and print output.
- Ability to supervise and manage team members and freelancers, ensuring effective collaboration
 and the successful execution of projects.
- Strong understanding of graphic design techniques, typography, composition, and layout, as well
 as the ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
- Attention to detail and a discerning eye for color combinations, fonts, and overall aesthetics, with
 expertise in color theory, color psychology, and maintaining visual consistency across different
 mediums.
- Excellent communication and time management skills to effectively collaborate with internal
 teams, clients, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise communication throughout
 the design process.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing
  tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a competitive environment, adapting to changing
 priorities and client needs while maintaining a high level of creativity and attention to detail.
- Understanding of digital and print artwork requirements, including file formats, resolution, and
 color profiles, to ensure optimal output across various mediums.
- Good analytical and decision-making skills to assess design solutions and make informed
 choices that align with project goals and client expectations.
