Architectural Draftsperson

Silpi Architects is a leading architectural consultancy and project management firm based in Kochi, with an operating office in Bangalore.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsperson with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in architectural drafting and documentation. The candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality drawings, coordinating with project architects, and supporting the team in delivering accurate and timely project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop architectural drawings, detailed plans, sections, and elevations using AutoCAD / Revit.
• Prepare working drawings, presentation drawings, and submission drawings as required.
• Coordinate with project architects, structural, MEP, and interior teams.
• Ensure drawing accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery.
• Update drawings as per site requirements, design changes, and client feedback.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing registers.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, schedules, and technical documentation (optional).
• Conduct basic site-measurements and incorporate changes into drawings (if required).

Qualification & Eligibility Criteria

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Diploma in Architecture (D.Arch) / ITI Draftsman (Civil) / B.Arch candidates with strong drafting skills.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an architectural draftsperson.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Working knowledge of Revit will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of architectural detailing and building construction standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and draft drawings from sketches and mark-ups.

Additional Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Location Preference

• Candidates residing in Bangalore will be given higher priority.
• Malayalee candidates currently based in Bangalore will be given top preference considering coordination requirements with Kerala-based teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹42,993.50 per month
