Position Overview

We are looking for a talented Embedded Hardware & Power Electronics Engineer with hands-on experience in IoT circuit design, PCB development, sensor interfacing, and power management.

The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end hardware design — from concept, schematic, and simulation to testing and production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, simulate, and test embedded hardware circuits for IoT and automation products.
  • Develop PCB schematics and layouts using tools like Altium, KiCad, or Eagle.
  • Interface sensors, actuators, and communication modules (GSM/4G, Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRa, RS485, etc.).
  • Design and optimize power supply circuits (AC-DC, DC-DC converters, battery charging, and protection).
  • Work on switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), buck/boost regulators, and LDOs.
  • Ensure EMI/EMC compliance and circuit reliability through simulation and testing.
  • Conduct hardware validation, debugging, and optimization using DSO, logic analyzer, and test jigs.
  • Collaborate with firmware and production teams for prototype and mass manufacturing.
  • Maintain BOMs, documentation, and revision control for all hardware designs.

Required Technical Skills

Embedded Hardware Design

  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design.
  • Experience with microcontrollers (ARM, STM32, ESP32, AVR, PIC, etc.).
  • Knowledge of communication interfaces – UART, SPI, I2C, RS485, CAN, Modbus.
  • PCB layout knowledge: grounding, trace width, impedance, signal integrity.
  • Experience with IoT hardware integration (Wi-Fi, BLE, GSM/4G, GPS, LoRa).

Power Electronics

  • Design and analysis of DC-DC converters, linear regulators, and battery circuits.
  • Hands-on experience with MOSFETs, power diodes, inductors, transformers, and gate drivers.
  • Understanding of power loss, efficiency, and thermal design considerations.
  • Design of reverse polarity, surge, and transient protection circuits.
  • Familiarity with current sensing, isolation techniques, and power measurement circuits.
  • Knowledge of battery management systems (Li-ion, LiFePO4, SLA) and charging algorithms.
  • Testing and debugging power circuits using oscilloscope, current probe, and power analyzer.

Preferred Tools & Software

  • Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, Proteus, or OrCAD
  • LTspice / PSpice / Simulink (for circuit simulation)
  • Multimeter, DSO, logic analyzer, power supply, function generator
  • Version control: Git / SVN

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and debugging ability
  • Clear documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Curiosity to learn and innovate with new technologies

Qualification

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in Embedded Hardware and Power Electronics Design
