Embedded Software Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Embedded Software Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in embedded firmware development, hardware–software integration, and debugging. You will be responsible for developing reliable, efficient, and scalable embedded solutions for our products.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for microcontrollers or embedded processors (ARM, STM32, PIC, etc.).
- Implement and optimize drivers, communication protocols, and application logic.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers for board bring-up, debugging, and validation.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and system-level integration testing.
- Analyze and troubleshoot real-time performance and system-level issues.
- Ensure software reliability, maintainability, and compliance with development standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (firmware architecture, API documentation, test reports).
- Support new product development from concept through production.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, E&TC.
- Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, E&TC.
- Bachelor of Science in electronics.
- Master of Science in electronics.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, with experience in RTOS or bare-metal environments.
- Good understanding of microcontroller architectures (ARM Cortex-M, AVR, PIC, etc.).
- Experience with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, or Ethernet.
- Knowledge of hardware schematics and debugging tools (oscilloscope, JTAG, logic analyzer).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with FreeRTOS, Embedded Linux, or other real-time operating systems.
- Exposure to IoT technologies (Wi-Fi, BLE, MQTT, HTTP, LoRa, Zigbee).
- Knowledge of bootloaders, firmware-over-the-air (FOTA) updates, and low-power design.
- Familiarity with Python scripting or CMake/Makefile-based build systems.
- Understanding of software testing frameworks and continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines.
