Position Overview:
A Customer Service Associate acts as the frontline support for customers, ensuring a positive experience by resolving inquiries, complaints, and providing information about products or services. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications typically associated with the role:
Key Responsibilities
- Listen to customers' concerns and handle complaints or returns.
- Give detailed explanations of company products/services and troubleshoot customer issues.
- Communicate with customers in person, over the phone, email, chat, or social media.
- Receive orders, calculate charges, and process payments.
- Review customer accounts and transactions; resolve billing or account issues.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and provide feedback to management.
- Refer complex issues to supervisors or other departments when necessary.
- Upsell and cross-sell products or services, as appropriate.
- Support store operations, including cashier and front-end duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area; report issues to management.
- Exhibit professional telephone etiquette and maintain confidentiality of information.
