Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Multi-Speciality Medical Coder. The position is based in Chennai. Review medical records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes with appropriate modifiers across multiple specialties while ensuring compliance and proper reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Code charts for specialties such as Internal Medicine, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, and others.
  • Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with CMS, AMA, NCCI, LCD/NCD guidelines.
  • Review documentation, raise necessary provider queries, and support denial resolution.
  • Meet daily productivity and quality targets.

Requirements:

  • Coding certification (CPC/CCS/CCS-P preferred).
  • 1–4+ years of multi-specialty coding experience.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and US healthcare RCM.
  • Experience with EMR systems like eCW, DrChrono, and Veracity.
  • High accuracy, analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
