Key Responsibility Areas (KRA): Website Development Resource

  • Website Development & Maintenance
  • Develop, test, and deploy responsive and user-friendly websites and landing pages using modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, etc.).
  • Regularly maintain and update existing websites to ensure optimal performance, security, and functionality.
  • UI/UX Implementation
  • Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Ensure seamless user experience across devices and browsers (cross-browser and cross-device compatibility).
  • CMS Management
  • Set up and manage CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Magento, etc.) and customize themes and plugins as needed.
  • Manage content updates, SEO metadata, and page structures to align with marketing objectives.
  • Website Optimization
  • Optimize website performance for speed, scalability, and SEO best practices.
  • Implement analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.) for monitoring user behavior and KPIs.
  • Collaboration & Coordination
  • Work closely with designers, marketers, and backend developers to align website functionality with brand guidelines and business goals.
  • Coordinate with external agencies/vendors when required.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Conduct thorough testing (functionality, usability, and responsiveness) before deployment.
  • Proactively identify and fix bugs, errors, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Innovation & Best Practices
  • Stay updated on emerging web technologies, trends, and best practices to propose improvements and innovations.
  • Implement automation where possible for efficiency in workflows.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain proper documentation for code, updates, and processes.
  • Provide regular status updates on project progress, timelines, and challenges.
