Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our dynamic HR team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, including talent management, employee orientation, and workforce management. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and contribute to our HR initiatives while developing their skills in human resources management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates through various channels, including social media management.
  • Support employee orientation programs to ensure new hires have a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Help maintain employee records and assist with contract management.
  • Participate in workers' compensation claims processing and documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members on talent management initiatives and workforce planning.
  • Utilize HR software such as Ceridian and Kronos for data entry and reporting tasks.
  • Conduct research on best practices in human resources management to support ongoing projects.
  • Provide administrative support for HR-related activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with HR concepts such as employee orientation, talent management, and workforce management is preferred.
  • Experience or coursework related to HR sourcing and social media management is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR software like Ceridian or Kronos is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
