Key Responsibilities:

Stock Management & Inventory Control: Assistant Manager - Stock is responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, tracking inventory levels, and ensuring real-time stock updates to minimize discrepancies. He monitors stock movement, verifies stock availability, and ensures that all materials are stored and recorded properly. He must coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to manage stock replenishment, prevent shortages, and avoid overstocking.

Stock Audits & Reconciliation: Assistant Manager - Stock conducts regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company policies. He is responsible for identifying and reconciling stock discrepancies by analyzing records and physical stock. Any variances must be resolved within 48 hours, and necessary corrective actions should be taken to prevent recurring issues.

Warehouse Coordination & Storage Optimization: Assistant Manager - Stock ensures optimal storage utilization by strategically placing stock in designated locations for easy accessibility and minimal handling time. He must collaborate with the warehouse team to organize stock based on product type, frequency of movement, and safety guidelines, ensuring a structured and efficient warehouse layout that reduces misplacement and damage.

Process Optimization & Stock Control Efficiency: Assistant Manager - Stock plays a key role in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance warehouse stock management efficiency. By analyzing stock handling trends, he must develop strategies to reduce stock loss, optimize stock movement, and improve workflow. His responsibility includes adopting best practices and leveraging technology to enhance stock tracking and control mechanisms.

Coordination with Warehouse & Procurement Teams: Assistant Manager - Stock ensures seamless communication and coordination between the warehouse, procurement, and dispatch teams to facilitate smooth stock movement. He must work proactively to prevent delays in order fulfillment by ensuring that all necessary stock is available as per demand. He is also responsible for escalating critical stock shortages or delays to the Warehouse Manager.

Compliance & Safety in Stock Handling: Assistant Manager - Stock ensures that all stock handling, storage, and movement processes comply with company policies, safety regulations, and audit requirements. He must conduct regular safety checks to prevent potential hazards and ensure that all stock is stored and handled as per safety guidelines.
