Role Overview

The Online Bridal Sales Specialist is the primary relationship anchor for brides shopping digitally with Talking Threads. This role blends personalised styling, couture advisory, and high-touch customer service with strong e-commerce execution. The specialist will guide brides through discovery, outfit selection, customisations, measurements, and final order booking—ensuring every online bride experiences "Luxury That Listens." The role also coordinates closely with the Design, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless, on-time delivery of each customised bridal order.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Bridal Sales & Styling (Online + Digital Showroom) . Engage with inbound bridal queries across WhatsApp, Instagram, website chat, and email.

Conduct virtual bridal appointments (whatsapp/ Zoom/Google Meet) to present collections, explain silhouettes, fabrics, embroidery, and price ladders.

Understand each bride's events, style preferences, colour palette, and body concerns to recommend the best curated edit.

Guide brides on customisation options (necklines, sleeves, embroidery zones, colours, fit adjustments, add-ons). Give transparent pricing guidance and value-based comparisons within Talking Threads' collections.

  1. E-Commerce Conversion & Order Booking Manage the complete digital sales funnel—from enquiry to invoice to payment closure. Create carts, invoices, and sales orders (Shopify + WhatsApp + CRM). Achieve weekly and monthly bridal sales targets for online and digital showroom channels. Track and optimise conversion rates, abandoned carts, and high-intent inquiries.

  2. Measurement & Fit Management Assist brides with measurement-taking via virtual guidance (Talking Threads measurement guide + video walk-through). Verify and record all body measurements accurately for made-to-measure orders. Coordinate with pattern masters for final fit approvals.

  3. Production Coordination & Order Tracking Prepare final customisation sheets and pass orders to design and production teams. Flag any risk to timelines early and work with production to resolve.

  4. Customer Experience & Relationship Building Build a warm, trustworthy relationship with every bride—making her feel supported, heard, and guided. Maintain detailed notes on each bride's preferences, customisations, and conversation history. Provide post-purchase support: alterations guidance, styling suggestions, accessory pairing, and delivery tracking. Encourage referrals, repeat purchases (cocktail, trousseau), and long-term customer loyalty.

  5. Digital Showroom Operations Host virtual trials using imagery, look-books, renders, and custom swatch videos. Share embroidery close-ups, colour options, and custom sketches where required. Work closely with the E-commerce team to improve product listings, FAQs, and measurement resources.

  6. Collaboration with Marketing & Creative Share insights on top bridal queries, common customisations, trending colours, silhouettes, sizes, and budgets. Collaborate with the marketing team on styling videos, live sessions, WhatsApp broadcasts, and new campaign suggestions. Contribute feedback to improve the digital bridal shopping journey.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills—warm, clear, and reassuring.
  • Deep understanding of bridalwear silhouettes, fabrics, embroidery, and couture finishes. Ability to style and curate outfits for multi-event Indian weddings.
  • Excellent coordination and follow-up capabilities.
  • Comfort with digital tools (Shopify, CRM, WhatsApp Business, Google Sheets).
  • Experience 2–5 years in bridal sales, couture sales, luxury retail, or fashion e-commerce. Experience with made-to-measure or custom bridalwear is a strong plus.
