Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager - Payable, located in Gurgaon. The Assistant Manager - Payable will manage day-to-day tasks including preparing and reviewing financial statements, conducting journal entries, and overseeing finance-related activities.

Excellent written and verbal communication to interact with internal teams and external partners.

Problem-solving ability with high attention to detail.

Ability to manage workload under tight deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce Graduate.

5 + years of experience in payment operations, reconciliation, and accounting.

Experience in month-end closing, audits, and accounting compliance is essential.

Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Zendesk preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Accuracy and timeliness of VCC reconciliations and month-end closing.

SLA compliance for query and escalation resolution.

Reduction in open disputes and recovery of excess charges.

Audit readiness and zero non-compliance findings.

Qualifications

  • Journal Entries (Accounting) and Finance-related skills
  • Experience with managing Fixed Assets
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
