Role & responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans, scope statements, and timelines for multiple concurrent technology initiatives.
  • Define resource requirements and allocate tasks effectively across teams.
  • Establish and monitor milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with internal project management frameworks, Agile/Scrum methodologies, or hybrid approaches as needed.
  • Engage closely with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and proper execution of project requirements.
  • Translate business needs into well-defined technical specifications and work packages.
  • Conduct technical reviews to ensure solutions align with architectural guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to technical team members.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, development teams, and management.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings and prepare progress reports, risk assessments, and project updates for leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, and external partners.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely resolution of technical and operational issues impacting project delivery.
  • Manage change requests effectively, balancing business priorities and technical constraints.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in the IT industry with software/application development roles and 3-5 years in project or program management.
  • Technical Background: Proficient in one or more programming languages/technologies (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, cloud platforms, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and modern development practices.
  • Proven track record in managing complex, multi-team technology projects.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
