Responsible to maintain Gas cylinder stock and ensure the following:

  1. Daily count of gas cylinders

  2. Receive empty cylinder from various departments

  3. Issue new cylinders to the user departments

  4. Send the empty cylinders to the company for refill

  5. Receive the refilled cylinders form the company

Responsible to drain the receiver of after cooler:

  1. To open the valve of the air vessel for 5-10 seconds

  2. To close the valve tightly once the moisture is released

  3. To repeat the procedure after every 3 hours

Responsible to ensure the following during daily check / Preventive Maintenance as per schedule

  1. The pressure at which the gases are pumped

  2. Pipe leakages

  3. Oil level of air compressor and vacuum pumps

  4. The bulk and B type O2 cylinders in O.T

  5. A.G.S.S machine

  6. To repair the outlet points of gases at their respective places

  7. To supply nitrous oxide and oxygen gases air and suction to wards, NICs, Cath labs and Operation theatre rooms

  8. To check the oxygen cylinders in the ambulance before any call

  9. To change the outlets points of the Ventilators, Heart Lung Machine, Anesthesia Machine

Responsible to repair choked suction in OT and Cathlab Pendants

Responsible to ensure the following during plant operating complaint handling:

  1. To note down the complaint in the complaint register

  2. To attend the problems based on priority of criticality such as attend to complaints from OT, PICU, and Recovery & HCC.

  3. To give the feedback to the Officer

  4. To note down the complaint which is unsolved

  5. To inform the officer about complaint which is unsolved.

Responsible to supervise the work of junior technician.

Responsible for any other duties as assigned by head of the department.
