Job Title: Sub Editor

Location: Kochi

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹26,000 per month

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Sub Editor to join our editorial team in Kochi. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in journalism, excellent language skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and proofread articles, features, and other content for accuracy, grammar, and style.
  • Ensure clarity, consistency, and factual correctness across all content.
  • Coordinate with writers, reporters, and designers to produce high-quality content.
  • Write engaging headlines, captions, and subheads.
  • Maintain editorial standards and brand voice.
  • Assist in planning and developing content for print and digital platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in journalism or editorial roles (mandatory).
  • Strong command of English and Malayalam (preferred).
  • Excellent editing, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multitask effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
