Overview: We are seeking a passionate and driven UI/UX Product Associate to join our team focused on developing innovative AI-powered products within the video surveillance domain. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining and shaping the user experience of our next-generation products. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and AI/ML specialists to translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. Your front-end development experience will be crucial in understanding technical feasibility and collaborating effectively with the engineering team. A strong comfort level with JIRA for task management, issue tracking, and project collaboration is essential.

Responsibilities Include

• Information Architecture & Wireframing: Contribute to the development of information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and low-fidelity prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.
• UI Design & Prototyping: Collaborate with senior designers to create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Front-End Collaboration: Leverage your understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to effectively communicate design specifications to engineers and ensure feasibility and accurate implementation of UI designs.
• Usability Testing & Iteration: Participate in usability testing sessions, analyze feedback, and iterate on designs based on user insights and technical constraints.
• JIRA Management: Utilize JIRA extensively for task management, bug tracking, sprint planning, and workflow management, ensuring clear communication and efficient collaboration within the product and engineering teams.
• Competitive Analysis: Assist in analyzing competitor products and industry trends to identify best practices and opportunities for innovation in UI/UX.
• Documentation: Help create and maintain UI/UX documentation, including design specifications, style guides, and user flows.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers to understand product requirements, technical feasibility, and business goals. Collaborate effectively with engineers, AI/ML specialists, and QA teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Personal Skills And Experience Needed

• Proven experience (1 year experience in product management and 4 years in a front end developer role preferably) with hands-on experience with front-end development technologies.
• Exposure to enterprise software or complex applications.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Proficiency in using JIRA for project management, issue tracking, and collaboration. Experience with Confluence is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for technology and an interest in artificial intelligence and video surveillance applications is a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred.
