Role Overview:

As the Founding Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building the backbone of our platform, from servers and databases to API integrations and dashboards. Youll work closely with the founding team to translate vision into execution, while setting engineering standards for the company.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build, own, and scale, not just code.

What You'll Do:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and build core backend systems and APIs.
  • Set up secure, scalable infrastructure (servers, cloud, databases).
  • Integrate with third-party APIs (SEMRush, OpenAI, Gemini, YouTube, Google Business Manager, etc.).
  • Build clean data pipelines for analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver dashboards and interfaces.
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Define and implement best practices in coding, reviews, and deployment.
  • Work directly with the founders on product roadmap and feature prioritization.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end product development, from MVP to scale.

What We Need:

Requirements:

  • 4–7 years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering (or proven startup-level impact)
  • Strong expertise in / Python / Go (we're flexible but expect depth in one).
  • Experience with databases (Postgres, MongoDB, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Strong background in API integrations and handling large data flows.
  • Frontend familiarity ) is a big plus.
  • Comfortable with DevOps basics (CI/CD, containers, scaling).
  • Startup mindset: ability to thrive in ambiguity, work independently, and ship fast.
  • Bonus: Experience with analytics platforms, NLP/LLMs, or AI APIs.
