Role & responsibilities

Industrial Landfill Operations

  • Manage day-to-day landfill operations for industrial waste, including reception, segregation, treatment, and disposal.
  • Ensure proper handling of hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste according to SOPs and safety protocols.
  • Monitor leachate, landfill gas, and other environmental control systems.

Regulatory Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with CPCB, SPCB, hazardous waste rules, and other environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and reporting to maintain statutory compliance.
  • Implement HSE policies and ensure strict adherence by all site personnel and contractors.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Supervise landfill staff, equipment operators, and third-party contractors.
  • Conduct training programs on safety, operational best practices, and regulatory compliance.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of industrial waste intake, disposal, and site operations.
  • Prepare periodic operational, HSE, and compliance reports for management and regulatory authorities.
  • Track KPIs and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost optimization.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with industrial clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities for permits, compliance, and operational issues.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for logistics, procurement, and project execution.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong knowledge of industrial waste handling, landfill operations, and environmental regulations.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of hazardous waste, leachate management, and landfill gas control.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
