Role & responsibilities

  • Security Integration in DevOps:

    Embed security best practices throughout the CI/CD pipeline, from code to deployment.
  • Infrastructure Management:

    Lead design, automation, and management of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Continuous Monitoring:

    Implement and manage tools for real-time monitoring, incident detection, and alerting.
  • Compliance & Governance:

    Work closely with InfoSec to ensure systems align with SOC 2, ISO 27001, RBI, and other relevant compliance standards.
  • Vulnerability Management:

    Conduct regular audits, identify vulnerabilities, and coordinate timely patching and remediation.
  • Automation & Tooling:

    Champion Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Ansible) and automate provisioning, configuration, and security checks.
  • Collaboration:

    Partner with development, QA, and product teams to embed security and reliability from design through delivery.
  • Incident Response:

    Establish robust incident response processes and participate in post-mortem reviews to drive improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 610 years of experience in DevOps, Security Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles; at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS/GCP, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions), and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and securing containerized environments.
  • Familiarity with application security, API security, and identity/access management.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
  • Working knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or other compliance frameworks.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go, or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced environments.
